The company emphasized the performance of the device, “It is fulfilled in tens of minutes, which will take several hours to humans.”

This qualification makes deep research a potential game changer for professionals, students and researchers who traditionally require deep analysis and reporting in a part of the time required.

However, Openi acknowledged that deep research is still in its early stages and has limits.

This device can struggle to distinguish between authentic information and rumors, and it currently faces challenges in confidence calibration, which often fail to properly reveal uncertainty.

These boundaries highlight the need for human surveillance when interpreting the device’s results.

Deep Research is now accessible in the web version of Chat GPT and will be released for mobile and desktop apps at the end of February.

The company started this year after a preview released in January for the operator, which is the second largest AI agent.

An excellent example of tools that goes from everyday work to other personal works, the operator will help create a work list and plan a holiday. It focuses on developing AI toolset that takes care of business and personal needs.
