Orders issued to close Islamabad markets amid PTI protests
ISLAMABAD: In response to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protests, the Islamabad administration has started implementing the closure of markets while tight security arrangements have been made in the red zone.
According to media reports, business closure orders have been issued in various sectors, including sectors F-10 and F-11. Markets of G-6, G-7, G-8 as well as F-6 and F-7 have also been ordered to be closed.
Apart from this, the electricity supply is disconnected in the areas around the blue area and the telephone service is also suspended.
