Pak Armed Forces make reforms to tackle terrorism: KH Asif

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Defense, Khwaja Muhammad Asif, on Tuesday reaffirmed his commitment and unprecedented commitment to strengthen national security, prioritize public aid and intensify counter -terrorism efforts.

In an interview to a private news channel, the Defense Minister said that Pakistan’s armed forces have been reformed to tackle terrorism and they will soon fight counter -terrorism activities in Balochistan.

In response to a question, Khawaja Muhammad Asif said that Balochistan’s resources should not be limited to Quetta only and the previous central governments should also be held accountable for the current situation in the province.

KK ASIF also assured that the federal government would increase its full support to the provincial government in Balochistan and meet all the real demands of the province.

Responding to a question, Khawaja Muhammad Asif said that there will be no talks with the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) because of the involvement of terrorist activities, killing innocent laborers.

Kafif Asif also praised the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister’s youth and efforts for the welfare of the country.

The minister further indicated that the nation could expect good news about electricity after Eid.

Regarding the founder of PTI, Imran Khan’s founder, he said that his assistance would be made by the courts rather than the government.

All possible steps to reduce electricity rates’

Meanwhile, in a post on his X account, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said that the present government is taking every possible step to reduce electricity prices to provide relief to the common man.

Talking to a private television channel, he said that the reduction in electricity prices can be reduced in the next few days.

Responding to a question about the release of the founder of Pakistan Tehreek -e -Insaf (PTI), he said that the founder is facing various cases and the court can decide the fate of the PTI founder on the basis of evidence.

He said the government could not do anything about the release of the founder PTI. He said PTI workers and leaders were involved in attacking security agencies on May 9.

He said that PTI is playing politics for personal interest. He called on PTI leaders to work for the national interest.
