Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider and Iranian province Governor Mashhad Ghulam Hussain Mozafi said in a joint statement that a trade target of $ 10 billion between Pakistan and Iran has been set.
Iran is also trying to eliminate fees for shrines, education, health and trade.
During a joint press conference at the Governor House Lahore, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider said that the Governor of Iran met with other delegations including the Chamber of Commerce, and called for promoting trade between the two countries.
The Punjab Governor said that he had requested to remove visa fees. We will increase our trade between one million.
It has also requested to reopen the meat trade with Iran. Visa issues will be resolved in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On the other hand, Iran’s Mashhad Governor, Gholm Hussain Mozafi, expressed hope that trade volume between the two countries will increase.
The governor of Mashhad has also condemned terrorism in Balochistan and indicated action against the common enemy.
