KARACHI – The transfer rate of the United Arab Emirates Dahm was strengthened against the Pakistani rupee in Pakistan’s open market as it stood at Rs 7676.22 on Saturday, March 08, 2025.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the sales rate for the UAE currency AED has also been recorded in Pakistan.
Durham is the official currency of the United Arab Emirates. Overseas Pakistanis usually need to convert the currency of their host country into Pakistani currency and this process is called currency exchange.
AED to PKR rate today
In the open market, the United Arab Emirates Durham rate is Rs 76.22. Therefore, 1,000 dirhams will be equal to Rs 76,220 in Pakistani currency.
More than two million Pakistani immigrants are living in the Gulf country where they are engaged in various jobs and businesses in the country.
In January 2025, overseas Pakistanis sent $ 22 622 million from the United Arab Emirates, observing the reduction on a monthly basis. However, it was 53 % higher than the amount sent in the same month of the previous year.
