The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to make some changes to the Pakistan Cricket Team (PCT) after poor performance of the Champions Trophy.
According to media reports, the PCB had decided to allow Captain Mohammad Rizwan to rest and Shadab Khan is being considered for this role in his place.
In addition, reports also say that 8-9 new capabilities are being included to the team.
The report also claims that key players like Shaheen Afridi, Babar Azam, Harsha Rao, Fakhr Zaman have been removed from the squad.
However, the new Name Like Mohammad Harsh, the Sufis, Arafat Minhar will also join the team.
In addition, Irrfan Khan Niazi, Zaman Khan, Mohammad Wasim, Abbas Afridi, and Jehandad Khan can also have the opportunity to join the squad.
It is expected that Imamul Haq, Taib Tahir, and Kamran Ghulam will also be removed from the squad.
However, speculation Salman, Ibrahim Ahmed, Amir bin Yusuf, Hassan Nawaz, Ali Raza, and Abdul Sadd are expected to be part of this new squad.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi met the Chief Selectors at the NCA National Cricket Academy today.
He also directed the selectors to prepare Pakistan’s national team for a better and strong future in cricket in cricket.
