Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Monday that in a clear attempt to resolve the dispute between the two ruling parties-Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
The meeting immediately of President Asif Zardari’s speech at a joint session of Parliament. It was later where he expressed strong reservations about the departure of the Indus from the Indus, saying that Sindh would adversely affect the farming community in Sindh province.
He was addressing an Iftar dinner held in honor of Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his party leaders. Sources said, however, the meeting failed to resolve the issues.
A delegation of Pakistan Peoples Party, headed by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, met the Prime Minister here and expressed his full confidence in his government.
He appreciated the leadership of the PPP for playing an effective and dynamic role in improving the standard of living of the common man by approaching public expectations in all four provinces and cooperating with the government.

He said that the Pakistan Peoples Party would fully support the government for every step to improve the country’s development, economic stability and the life of the common man.
Members of the Pakistan Peoples Party thanked the Prime Minister for thanking the allies in government affairs, respecting their opinion and taking them in confidence.
The PPP delegation reaffirmed its commitment to fully cooperate with the Prime Minister for the development of the country’s economy.
