Rawalpindi Traffic Plan: City Traffic Police Rawalpindi has issued a traffic plan before Pakistan Super League 10 matches at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

According to the official update, alternative routes and traffic turns have been set to effectively handle the expected sheep during the match days.

The traffic plan in the stadium area has outlined road closures, limited access and parking spaces. Throughout the event, these measures are aimed at maintaining both public safety and effective traffic movement.

On May 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 19, and 7, 8, 10, and May 13, Rawalpindi PSL will host 10 matches.

In addition to the teams travel between the Serena Hotel and the stadium, during the game hours, some routes will be blocked or dealt with.

Club Road: Traffic will be diverted to Srinagar Highway via Serena Chowk.

  • Rawalpindi to Islamabad: Traffic will be transported to Saidpur Road via Sixth Road Chowk.

  • The 9th Avenue Traveler: IJP Road will be diverted.

  • Murree Road (Double Road from Faizabad): It will be closed on April 13 and May 17 for Team Movement (5pm Departure, Return 11pm). In the days of the double header match, the restrictions will apply from 11am to 11pm.

  • Rawalpindi: Vehicles will be redirected from Faizabad to Expressway.

  • Stadium Road: The 9th Avenue Square and Double Road will be inaccessible during the matches.

Due to the security procedures, Rehmanabad, Khatam Nabot, and Faizabad stations will be closed during the match hours, though metro bus services will still work.

Different Drab, Drivers, especially cricket fans – are advised to prepare forward, take public transport and stay away from limited areas. Private car users should think about taking different routes and starting soon.

Passengers are advised to continue with the real -time traffic advice of local traffic authorities for a more easy trip.
