With a fitness test in the National Cricket Academy set to determine its availability for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, Pakistan opener Sam Ayub has returned to Lahore after completing his recovery.

Medical Reports ‘Instructions’

Sources in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) say that Ayub’s medical reports from the UK are “encouraging”, which is raising hopes about his return to competitive cricket. During the Test match in January, the left -handed batsman was recovering from ankle fractures.

After the injury, Ayub was sent to London for treatment under the direction of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. The progress of its recovery will now be assessed in Lahore before the final decision on its PSL 10 participation.

The 21 -year -old is expected to travel to Karachi to celebrate Eid with his family before resuming training. If its return is cleansed to play, it can promote its PSL franchise.
