Quetta Gladiator has nominated former Pakistan cricket team captain Sarfraz Ahmed as team director for the PSL 10th edition.
Sarfraz Ahmed, who led the team Pakistan team in the Champions Trophy Tournament 2017 and has been out of the team for years to raise the trophy for the country.
However, the Quetta Gladiator has placed them in the role of captain. He is leading the team from his first season. Under his captaincy, Quetta won the PSL in 2019.
But now Sarfraz has been assigned to the new leadership role outside the field.
Nadeem Omar, owner of Quetta Gladiator, announced a significant change in the role of Sarfraz with the team.
Nadeem Omar told the media, “I am happy to announce the appointment of Sarfraz Ahmed as the team director of Quetta Gladiators.” “I am sure he will bring precious experience and leadership to the franchise.”
He recognized the strong combination of Sarfraz as the director of the team and former Pakistan Captain Moen Khan as head coach.
He further expressed that partnerships will help the franchise win the future PSL season.
