Senior bureaucrat resigns over crackdown on PTI protesters

ISLAMABAD: Senior bureaucrat of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Sulaiman Shah Rashidi has resigned from the post in protest over the recent crackdown on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protesters.

In a post on social media site X, Rashidi wrote, “After today’s heartbreaking scenes, I curse this government and its job. I announce my resignation from civil service!
