The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the rankings of ODI players, former Pakistan captain Babar Azam continues to rule among ODI batsmen and Shaheen Afridi has become the number one bowler in ODI cricket.
According to the details, ICC has released new ODI rankings in which Fakhar Zaman has moved up a notch despite being on the sidelines.
Despite not being seen in action for several months, Fakhar Zaman has moved up a notch to the 17th position with 623 points.
In the Test rankings, Imam-ul-Haq, Muhammad Rizwan and Saeem Ayub maintained their positions and are at the 20th, 22nd and 23rd positions respectively.
When it comes to ODI matches, Babar Azam is at the first position while India’s Rohit Sharma, Shibman Gill and Virat Kohli are at the second, third and fourth positions respectively.
Shaheen Shah Afridi became the number one bowler in ODI cricket after the historic victory against Australia.
In ODI bowling ranking, Haris Rauf is at 18th position with 585 points, while Naseem Shah is at 50th, Wasim Junior is at 59th position with two steps up, while Mohammad Nawaz is still at 72nd position.
Shaheen Afridi has moved up one place to number three from number four, while Sri Lanka’s Mahesh Thaksina has replaced him.
Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and India’s Kuldeep Yadav remain at the first and second positions.
In T20s, Babar Azam joins his partner and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan in the top 10 after improving by 6 places and is ranked 6th while Saeem Ayub maintains his 57th position.
In the ranking, Australia’s Travis Head was first, England’s Phil Salt was second and India’s Tilak Verma was third. Saeem Ayub made a big jump in the ODI rankings.
In the T20 rankings, Shaheen Afridi managed to move up to the 21st position, while Haris Rauf and Abbas Afridi were demoted to the 29th and 44th positions.
