Recently, actress Reema Khan is in the news again due to cheating allegations. Allegations of fraud have been leveled against him by Shahid Rafiq, an elderly man who worked in Qatar and allegedly invested in Reema Khan’s film Love Man Gum.
Shahid Rafiq said that I returned to Lahore from Qatar in 2009 to buy some property. I met Reema Khan’s sister Maira Khan who was a realtor. I discussed that I wanted to buy a plot, after which Moira asked me to invest in Reema Khan’s film Love Main Gum. Instead of buying the plot, he assured me that I would get profit. Moira also arranged for me to meet Reema after which I transferred the money to her. I also checked some plots which Moira refused to sell and demanded more money for her sister’s film.
Shahid Rafique added that Reema Khan also invited me to Malaysia where the star cast was present for the shooting of the film. I also stayed in the same hotel. I finished the movie. They kept asking for more money. However, I was fed up with their demands, and I asked them to return my money, after which Rima made a deal with me, but she did not pay me. I have all the evidence. He filed a case against me saying that I am a fraud. I have also filed a case which is in court, and Reema is delaying the court proceedings. He is not appearing in court.
