Stand firm for real freedom at D Chowk, Imran Khan’s message from jail
ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, in a message from jail, expressed his unwavering support to the Pakistani nation and the workers of his political party, PTI, who are standing up for their rights and demanding true freedom. .
Khan praised the peaceful protesters for their determination, stressing that they were challenging the mafia that had taken over the country.
Imran Khan said in his message that I salute the people of Pakistan and the workers of PTI who participated in the peaceful protest by standing up for their rights, demanding their rights and true freedom.
“I also want to give a message to my team, fight till the last ball. We will not back down until the demands are met.”
Khan strongly condemned the actions of law enforcement agencies, including Rangers and police forces, who opened fire on PTI workers and civilians on the instructions of caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi. He said that he will have to respond to these actions.
He also appreciated the bravery of the protesters who continued to rescue the injured police and ranger personnel despite the violence.
Imran Khan thanked overseas Pakistanis for their support, acknowledging their efforts in mobilizing protests, sending funds and raising awareness about the ongoing struggle globally. Overseas Pakistanis are not only mobilizing within Pakistan but also staging historic demonstrations in their respective countries.
The PTI founder also addressed his social media followers, urging them to continue covering the demands of the protesters and the atrocities in Pakistan.
Khan’s call for peaceful and united protests emphasized the importance of collective action for the future of the nation, urging everyone to join the movement at D Chowk if they have not already done so.
