Tauqeer Nasir is a well-known senior star of Pakistan. He has been a big name in dramas since the days of PTV and was part of some of the biggest dramas that are considered classics today. He is currently busy with Censor Board duties and is not taking up too many acting projects.
He was a guest on Gossip Shab and spoke about the lack of values among today’s youth. He said that we had a communal system and grandparents played an important role in shaping the values and morals of children. Now the youth are all on their phones and so are the elders at home and the youth don’t get the value we used to get in the olden days.

He also explained why he is not acting much these days. He said that he does not want to criticize the current dramas but there is no quality. He doesn’t want to play a father who has no role in the story and is only there to be a side character. The passion is gone now and we don’t have the kind of content we used to have.
