Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been identified, police say the accused used a ladder to enter the building, CCTV footage has surfaced.
According to Indian police, Mumbai police confirmed in a press conference that they have identified a suspect.
Police officials say that the accused used the emergency exit stairs to enter Khan’s house in case of fire in the building and had planned to loot the house.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Dixit Gedam said that investigations have revealed that a person entered the house of Saif Ali Khan and first confronted Saif Ali Khan’s domestic servants, but when Saif Ali Khan When he tried to intervene, the man attacked him.
Police are also investigating how the attacker bypassed the building’s security and are reviewing CCTV footage. Authorities are making efforts to arrest the accused and 10 investigation teams are working on the case.
According to reports, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed 6 times. Doctors said that the actor suffered deep injuries, one near the spine and the other on the left wrist, due to which the actor underwent surgery and now the actor’s condition is said to be out of danger.
According to media reports, the incident took place around 2 am on Thursday, during which Saif Ali Khan had a fight with the thief and was injured while the assailant escaped.
Later he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital. In this case, Bandra Police has registered an FIR against an unknown person and started investigation.

Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan got serious injuries and is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
