ICC (International Cricket Council) chief executive Jeff Aldius has offered his resignation and the council confirmed this on Tuesday.
Elvards joined the ICC as Cricket Operation Manager in Cricket Australia (CA) in 2012 as General Manager of Cricket Cricket.
He served as acting chief executive officer for an eight -month period before becoming the ICC chief executive officer in November 2021.
ICC chair Jay Shah expressed his gratitude for the partnership of Alardis.
