Govt appoints Zeeshan Rehman Khattak as SECP Commissioner

ISLAMABAD: In a major development, Zeeshan Rehman Khattak has been confirmed as the Commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) following his selection by the federal government.

Prior to joining SECP, Khattak was Chief Commercial Officer at Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB). He was instrumental in promoting trade alliances, expanding the IT sector and influencing national policy.

Zeeshan has diverse expertise in infrastructure development, strategic planning and governance, further enhanced by his additional roles as Acting CEO, Chief Marketing Officer, and Chief Industry Development Officer.

Throughout his career, Khattak has worked in various fields and locations. He brings over 20 years of experience in technology, real estate, wealth management and regulatory affairs both locally and abroad.

He holds MBA in Finance from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad and degrees in Business and Economics from California State University, Fullerton, USA.
