Washington: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi attended the Lincoln Liberty Ball dinner in Washington, US officials and dignitaries warmly welcomed him.

During the event, Naqvi met with dignitaries, including Senator Tommy Tuberwell, Congressman Ken Calvert, former British Prime Minister Liz Truss, and Mississippi Governor Philip Bryant. The discussion focused on mutual interests and ways to strengthen bilateral relations.

The minister also congratulated the US senators and members of Congress on assuming the presidency of Donald Trump. “This is a historic day for America,” Naqvi remarked, expressing confidence in the Trump administration’s ability to open a new chapter in US-Pakistan relations.

Naqvi noted the enthusiasm of the American people during the celebrations and termed it as proof of their support for President Trump.

He expressed his best wishes to the American people and reiterated Pakistan’s determination to promote cooperation.

Highlighting the decades-old cooperation, the Prime Minister added, “Over the years, our two great nations have worked together for peace and prosperity for our people in the region and beyond, and we will continue to do so in the future. Will stay.”
