The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has renamed the Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium in Peshawar.
The provincial government has decided that Arbab and the stadium will be named after Bobby Chairman Imran Khan.
In this regard, the Sports Department has prepared a summary to change the name of the stadium and the chief minister. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandpur approved the summary, in which it is written that Arbab Niaz will be named Imran Khan Cricket Stadium.
The summary of changing the name of the stadium will be presented at a cabinet meeting tomorrow, which is likely to be approved.
On the other hand, the cost of Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium reached Rs 2.31 billion, while in 2018 the stadium cost Rs 1.37 billion.
In addition, the cost of 2021 reached Rs 1.94 billion and in 2024 the cost of the stadium reached Rs 2.31 billion.
