According to reports, the team will participate in the tri-series against South Africa and New Zealand before announcing the squad. After the series, the final list of players will be submitted to Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi for approval.
Due to the injury of opener Saeem Ayub, his replacement has already been finalised. However, under-performing opener Abdullah Shafiq and middle-order batsman Usman Khan are unlikely to be included in the squad.
