Rawalpindi: Three terrorists belonging to Funal Khawarij were killed in two separate clashes with security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cities on November 21-22, the army’s media wing said.

A statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that two terrorists were killed in an intelligence-led operation in Bara General area of ​​Khyber district.

They have been identified as Haq Yar Afridi alias Khyber and Gul Jan.

In another incident, security forces intercepted the movement of a group of terrorists in South Waziristan district, who were trying to infiltrate from the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. One terrorist was killed while three were injured.

“Pakistan has been continuously asking the Interim Afghan Government to ensure effective border management along the border,” the ISPR statement said, adding that the Interim Afghan Government is expected to fulfill its responsibilities. will and “deny the use of Afghan soil by the Kharijites for terrorism. Works against Pakistan.”

Pakistan has seen an increase in militancy since the Afghan Taliban came to power in 2021, with the Pakistani chapter of the movement carrying out attacks mostly targeting security forces.
