KARACHI – The United Arab Emirates dirhams reinforced three money against Pakistani rupees in Pakistan’s open market as it stood at Rs 76.16 on Friday, February 28, 2025.

According to a foreign currency website, the sales rate for the UAE currency AED in Pakistan also increased to three bucks as it is available in the local currency market for Rs 76.66.

Durham is the official currency of the United Arab Emirates. Overseas Pakistanis usually need to convert the currency of their host country into Pakistani currency and this process is called currency exchange.

AED to PKR rate today

In the open market, the United Arab Emirates Durham rate is Rs 76.16. Therefore, in Pakistani currency, 1,000 dirhams will be equal to Rs 76,160.

More than two million Pakistani immigrants are living in the Gulf country where they are engaged in various jobs and businesses in the country.

In January 2025, overseas Pakistanis sent $ 22 622 million from the United Arab Emirates, witnessing the reduction on a monthly basis. However, it was 53 % higher than the amount sent in the same month of the previous year.

The day ago, Abu Dhabi Wali Prince Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed arrived in Pakistan on an official visit.

During this visit, he reaffirmed the support of the United Arab Emirates for Pakistan’s economic development and prosperity as the two countries called for deals to promote bilateral relations.

The statement came when the Prince Prince made a long visit to Pakistan on Thursday, during which he met Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and discussed issues of bilateral interest.

It was Pakistan’s first official visit to Sheikh Khalid in his ability as Prince Prince.
