Khwaja: On March 31, in the city of Khwaja, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shakat Mirziov, participated in a trilateral meeting with the President of the Tajikistan Republic, Emomali Rahman, and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadir Zipro.

State Heads of State exchanged congratulations on the holy holiday of Ramadan-celebrating the spring of Eid al-Fitter and Nuroz, seeking peace, prosperity and fitness to the brotherly people.

President Shakat Mirziov congratulated Tajik and Kyrgyz on the final resolution of all matters and signing the agreement on the termination of the state border.

It was emphasized that this document will help with the agreement at the junction point of the three countries’ state borders, to ensure stability, sustainable development and enhance the international stance of the entire region. The memorial of the newly unveiled friendship will serve as a new symbol of strengthening strategic partnerships between good neighbor relations, mutual trust, and brotherly countries.

The president of Uzbek also highlighted the key priorities for practical interaction.

Above all, it maintains high levels of functional and confident contacts.

This week, dedicated to tackling shared environmental challenges in the Samarkand region, the first “Central Asia -EU” will host the summit and climate forum.

In May, a summit with the Gulf Arab states is scheduled, followed by a seventh consultative meeting of the heads of state Central Asia in September.

In this context, the importance of maintaining a regular consultation between the Foreign Ministry was emphasized to well prepare the agendas of the coming events and develop an integrated approach.

Special focus was on promoting close cooperation between the border areas.

It was noted that in recent years, Uzbekistan’s trade with Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan has increased manifold, with about HALF half of the trade volume attributed to the border areas.

In this regard, the need was highlighted for the development of easy, modern trade and logistics infrastructure, along with the comprehensive modernization and expansion of border customs checkpoints.

A proposal was made to find the establishment of a trilateral trading platform, including a permanent exhibition organization and a fair organization for industrial and agricultural products.

Another important area is industrial cooperation projects.

Uzbekistan enterprises and private companies are actively investing in the development of modern production facilities in neighboring countries.

To support such cooperation, the President of Uzbekistan agreed to gradually increase the capital of joint investment funds.

It was agreed to continue its efforts to increase transportation between countries. This includes increasing frequency and increasing the geography of the air routes, as well as launching new routes of interstitial buses in the border areas.

Along with joint water resources and environmental protection programs, the focus is on pursuing major regional projects in green energy and transportation.

Uzbek President, Shakat Mirziov, emphasized that more active efforts of the government in the economic sector will yield speed and concrete consequences, which aims to increase the welfare of the people of the region.

It was noted that the cultural and humanitarian events at the time are helpful in strengthening friendship and mutual understanding among the people of the region, especially among the youth.

The President of Uzbekistan prescribed joint concerts and friendship festivals in the annual border areas during the celebration of Nawroz and preparations to host such programs in Fergina City next year.

After the meeting, a historic agreement was signed at the junction point of the state borders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, and a joint declaration of three heads of the state was adopted.

As part of the high -level events that took place in the city of Khwaja, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the President of the Emmali Rahimon, Shakat Mirziov, and the president of the state’s Republic of Sadir Japarov formally inaugurated the junction memorial.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the three countries, through a video conference, informed the leaders about the completion of construction work and the preparation of the site.

It is worth noting that the purpose of this monument is to work as a new sign of strengthening strategic partnerships between friendship, good deeds, mutual trust, and brotherhood countries.

As part of the cultural program of the summit in Khwaja City, the heads of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan visited the Khwaja Fort and became aware of its historical significance.

It is worth noting that this unique complex is built by the 6th century BC. Archaeologists have confirmed that the first fort was built during this period.

After its reconstruction in 1999, a regional history museum was opened to the fort, now there are more than 28,000 exhibitions.

During the recent recovery, the walls, forts and gates of the fort were rebuilt. An administrative building and craftsman shops were constructed, and copies of traditional Khwaja Saharan were built.

On this site, a complex consisting of five exhibition halls dedicated to the history and culture of Tajik people was also set up on the site. In eight craftsmen, craftsmen engage in calligraphy, painting, ads and sunshine, stone painters, blacksmiths and kerosene.

Leaders watched an exhibition of traditional crafts, agricultural products and national food from three countries and participated in the performance of traditional cultural offerings.

In his comments, the president of Uzbekistan congratulated the brother-in-law on the occasion of the holy celebration of Nawroz, spring renewal, and the holy celebration of Ramadan.

The President said, “Today, there is really a great and long-awaited celebration for our people. We have signed a historic agreement at the confluence point of the state borders of our three countries. From now on, there will be borders of the Brotherhood-new opportunities, creativity and integration.”

It was emphasized that our people share a sacred land, a belief, a destiny, as well as shared concerns, happiness and aspirations. For both present and future generations, we should now work together to transform this beautiful land into a dignity and a prosperous life.

In recent years, thanks to the shared political will, the relations between our countries have made significant changes.

Today, an agreement on the coalition relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan has been formally implemented. A similar agreement is expected to be signed between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in the near future.

Citizens have had a dynamic development in trade, investment, freight transport, and mutual journey. The number of successful cooperation measures continues to increase.

It was noted that during today’s talks, agreements were made to create favorable conditions for business and cultural exchange, increase the frequency of direct flights, and to launch new route routes between cities in the border areas.

Special attention was paid to the regular organization of cultural programs, creative festivals, youth forums and sports competitions.
