Bushra Ansari and Javed Sheikh were among the most successful on-screen couples of the year as they appeared in the highly successful and popular dramas Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum Mein Shaughta and Iftikhar. Bushra Ansari revealed that one of her senior Qazi Wajid once tried to set her and Javed Sheikh up. He advised her to marry him. He immediately dismissed the idea and said it was never going to happen.
