Renowned Pakistani actor, writer and director Yasir Hussain expressed his anger after facing a fake news claiming his death on social media.
Recently, social media users were shocked by a viral news that actress Iqra Aziz’s husband Yasir Hussain has passed away. The baseless claim not only enraged Yasir but also confused the netizens.
Taking to Instagram, Yasir shared a story highlighting the spread of fake news about him. He criticized some digital creators for using misleading thumbnails as clickbait.
In his post, Yasser shared a fake repost. Youtube Thumbnail announcing her alleged death, stating, “Iqra Aziz’s husband has passed away.”
Incensed at the irresponsible behavior, Yasir wrote:
“Whoever posted this news should prepare to post about their mother being a widow next time.”
After Yasir’s post, many social media users slammed the digital creators for spreading baseless rumors just to get clicks. Critics argued that such actions reflected poor ethics in digital journalism.
However, some users also disapproved of Yasser’s choice of words in their response, suggesting that he should have expressed his frustration with more tact and restraint.
For context, Yasir Hussain And Iqra Aziz started their relationship in 2018. They tied the knot in December 2019 and welcomed their son Kabir Hussain in July 2011, 1.5 years after their marriage.
