Recently, Yasir Nawaz appeared on Faisal Qureshi’s podcast Pressure Buhat Hai. In the podcast, he talked about the actors currently reviewing Pakistani dramas.
Talking about the actors, Yasir Nawaz said that let them speak. I don’t consider their opinion important. Nowadays, actors are reviewing plays. I haven’t seen their reviews, but sometimes clips pop up in my feed. Danish Nawaz once asked me, ‘Don’t you get angry at bad reviews?’ I replied, ‘Let them. I don’t care.’
However, I feel a bit more anxious when it comes to movies. We are bringing people from their homes to cinemas, and they are spending their money on our productions. At least give us a week or two before making decisions. As for drama reviews, I don’t really care because people watch them regardless.
