– Both leaders vow to raise the issue of Indian atrocities against Kashmiri Muslims in all international forums

Islamabad: A member of the National Assembly Shehr Khan Afridi, a former chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Kashmir and the Pakistan Tehreek-A-Nanasif (PTI), hosted the lunch meeting in honor of former Danish parliamentarian Sikandar Syedadek and discussed issues of mutual interest.

Ali Muhammad Khan and Shandana Gulzar Khan and others were also present.

Shehr Khan Afridi endorsed the new prevention of Kashmiri Muslims in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on the right to religious freedom and urged Alexander Siddique to take up the issue on all the EU and other related forum platforms.

He told a former Danish MP that Dr Ghulam Sabitin Masoodi, father of Mirwaiz Maulvi Omar Farooq, passed away on Wednesday, but Indian forces did not allow his funeral prayers at the Jamia Masjid Srinagar.

He said that just as the holy month of Ramadan is about to begin, the young girls in Kashmir distribute copies of the Quran to Lal Chowk in Srinagar, they were arrested by Indian forces on the pretext that they are not allowed to distribute religious books in public. Last year, he added, saying that the prayers of Tarawei were not allowed in Srinagar.

Afridi said that Kashmir is a Muslim -majority region where alcohol is banned. However, he emphasized that due to the arrival of non -Muslim settlers, the occupied government is lifting the ban on sale of liquor so it can be sold on the roads, which can destroy the social fabric of a Muslim society.

He said that government officials have transferred Dr Qasim Facto to Haryana Grogram Jail, and accelerate the sounds of resistance. He said that even the social reformist party was banned and it was forced to join the electoral politics of shame for the existence and the liberation of its leaders.

He also discussed in the long imprisonment of Kashmiri leaders Musharraf Alam Bhatt, Yasin Malik, Shabbir Shah, Ms. Asia Andrabi, Ms Naheed Nasri, Ms Fahmida Safi and others in the long imprisonment of others.

Alexander Siddique expressed serious concerns over the plight of Kashmiri Muslims and said that they would raise their voice in every forums and Indian occupation governments for Kashmiris.

On the occasion, PTI lawmakers Ali Muhammad Khan and Shandana Gulzar also briefed the former Danish MPs about the plight of Kashmiri youth.
