Islamabad: Election Committee Chairman, Aamir Mahmood Pirzada, on Wednesday issued a schedule for the National Press Club (NPC) elections for 2025-26.
According to the schedule, the election day has been fixed on March 17. Serving the nomination papers will be started on March 5 and will continue from 7am to 12pm, while the investigation will be held on March 8.
It was also suggested in the schedule that after filing objections against the nomination papers from 08:00 am to 12:00 am on March 9, 9am on March 9, the list of candidates will be shown on March 8 at 8pm.
Further procedure for hearing objections took place from March 10 to 08: 00 am to 12:00 pm.
The final list of nomination papers and candidates will be decided on March 11 and 12, respectively.
The polling will take place on March 17 from 10:00 am to 11pm.
