Lahore Weather Update: The weather in the provincial capital is expected to remain pleasant.

Lahore: As the skies of the provincial capital became clear, the citizens felt relieved due to smog. The weather is likely to remain dry with no chance of natural rainfall.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the city is likely to be 12 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature may go up to 26 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded above 47%.

Weather forecasters have confirmed that there is no chance of rain in Lahore today. The increasing level of smog is endangering the overall air quality of Lahore, making it difficult for citizens to breathe in the open air, however, after artificial rain, the level of smog decreases somewhat.

Weather will remain dry in most parts of the country. However, evening/night will remain cloudy over Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir, besides rain at few places and light snowfall over higher mountains. Most of the areas of Punjab are covered by smog, while some plains are likely to experience moderate to heavy fog during the night.

Residents of Lahore are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period, such as staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during sunny hours, and avoiding health damage due to increased smog. The use of masks, and the use of protective equipment such as hats and sunglasses.
