PTI caravan reaches near Zero point (Live Updates)

Islamabad: The convoy of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), led by former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi, reached close to zero despite the government’s efforts to stop the protest.

Addressing the protesters, Bushra Bibi appealed to the supporters to maintain peace, adding that we will reach D Chowk and will not go back until Imran Khan is released.

After reaching the zero point, the caravan is now moving towards the zero point. While the other two convoys have entered the federal capital with one convoy F-10, the other near Centaur Mall.

As soon as the PTI workers entered the Zero Point area, the Islamabad Police and Sindh Police personnel deployed in the area took the path of peace. Islamabad police forces dispersed the protesters. The policemen fled in cars, motorcycles and left the area.

According to latest reports, Police and Rangers are continuously firing tear gas shells near G-10 Islamabad to disperse the protesters.

According to the sources, Pakistan Army has been instructed to shoot on sight if the situation is out of control. According to recent reports, four Rangers personnel including five police personnel were injured in the incident.
