Bushra Bibi, Ali Amin Gandapur engaged in discussion on protest strategy
Islamabad: As soon as the convoy of PTI protesters from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa moved towards Islamabad, there was a clash between Imran’s wife Bushra Bibi and KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur over the decision to continue the protest.
Sources said Daily Features The directives from PTI founder Imran Khan’s wife regarding the ongoing protests have created difficulties for Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur as the letter wants him to travel at a slower pace.
Sources said that Ali Amin Gandapur and party spokesperson Sheikh Waqas Akram wanted the main convoy to be taken slowly towards Islamabad and stoppages should also be made on the way so that more and more people could join the convoy.
In contrast, Imran Khan’s wife, who is currently leading the convoy, is directing the convoy to travel at the fastest possible speed to reach Islamabad, sources inside the convoy said.
However, it is learned that earlier PTI had planned to reach Islamabad in about 7 days. But after the emergence of Bushra Bibi, all this is going against the plan and the PTI leadership is currently stuck in an awkward situation, party sources said. Gandapur said the former first lady does not have much understanding of politics as she is not a politician, sources said.
