Canada actress Rania Rao was arrested at Bangalore’s Camogoda International Airport (KIA) for allegedly trying to smuggle 14.8kg of gold from Dubai.
The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) on March 3 detained Rania Rao on charges of smuggling more than 12 million gold from Dubai.

He was presented to a special court for economic crimes on March 4 and was kept in judicial custody for 14 days.

She has not been able to contact us since her marriage. We are unaware of her husband’s business activities,” the DGP told the media.
He added that this news came to him as a great shock and disappointment for him. “He has disappointed us. If something wrong has been proved, the law will take its way, “he told the Indian media.
