ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the Islamabad administration has blocked all roads leading to Adiala Jail. Police and local authorities have completely blocked the roads in preparation for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) demonstration.

The main road leading to the jail has reportedly been closed to all traffic, preventing access to the facility. Due to heavy police presence and deployment of containers at strategic locations along Adiala Jail Road, the residents of the neighborhood faced severe inconvenience.

Talking to the media, police officials said that no demonstration will be allowed in the jurisdiction of the federal capital, especially near Adiala Jail.

It should be noted that after PTI’s call for a march towards Islamabad today, the administration has closed several roads in Rawalpindi and the federal capital as part of security measures.
