Lahore: On Friday, Punjab Prime Minister Ozma Bokhari said that the terrorists who were infiltrating in Balochistan and other provinces were working from outside, saying that it was not a war for the security of Pakistan between Balochistan and Punjab.

“We do not want provincial disputes, but Punjabi workers are being identified through their identity cards and are being killed in Balochistan, while the so -called YouTubers and Mehering Lango are silent on the current situation in Balochistan,” the Minister of Information said at a meeting here on Friday.

The Assistant Chief Minister of the Chief Minister on Price Control Salma Butt also addressed the media on the occasion.

He said that the Punjab government was working permanently for public aid. He said that the provincial cabinet has decided to provide ration cards to 1.5 million families.

He emphasized that due to the efforts of the Prime Minister’s team, inflation has come to its bottom in 25 years, which proved the effectiveness of government policies.

On the occasion of Jamatol Wada, he prayed to end the problems of the Pakistani people.

He said that the Punjab government has worked hard to overcome food prices. High quality equipment is being ensured in Ramadan and relief markets to provide maximum relief to people. The Chief Minister praised Salma Butt’s performance in a cabinet meeting and expressed satisfaction over the public welfare measures.

Aushama Bokhari also revealed that 120 agenda items were approved at the last provincial cabinet meeting, which is why it is the longest agenda in cabinet history.

A modern system is being introduced in Punjab to overcome crime. An air ambulance system is being set up in Bhakkar, while a crime control system will be activated throughout the province. In addition, a special investigation unit is being set up to prevent sexual offenses, which will make the investigation more efficient and fast.

The Minister added that the Chief Minister personally reviewed the arrest of a suspect in Faisalabad and directed the authorities to arrest other fugitives quickly. He made it clear that Punjab is now investigating on a scientific basis, ensuring that the suspects are arrested within hours. The Chief Minister has unclear that crime against women will not be tolerated, and calls it their red line. He has directed the police that the traditional delays tactics are no longer acceptable and to ensure speedy justice.

SACM Salma Butt said that under the “Ramadan Nagaban” package, the families of the deceased pay order holders are being provided financial assistance. He noted that due to lack of biometric verification, 300,000 senior citizens are being provided assistance through SMS services to reduce their problems.

He also highlighted that in the last 26 days, more than 12.8 million people have purchased from various district stalls. In the last 24 hours alone, more than 440,000 people purchased from the Model Bazaar and 977 relief stalls, which showed the government’s efforts to provide public aid.

Since the beginning of Ramadan, people from all districts have purchased more than 5.94 million kilograms of fruits and vegetables at discounted rates.

In addition, more than 540,000 kilograms of chicken, 311,000kg dates, and more than 600,000 kilograms of flour and gram have been sold.

Salma Butt added that since the first day of Ramadan, more than 170,000 flour bags have been purchased from relief stalls. These flour bags are being provided at a subsidy rate on 10kg per 10kg bag to maximize the maximum public convenience.
