Peshawar: Police said four people were shot dead on Saturday and five others were injured in a land dispute between two groups in the Champion area of ​​Batagram District, Batagram District of Pukhtoonhua.

According to police, the victims included three members of the same family, including Shahzada, his son Ziaullah Shah and brother Mazarib Shah.

The fourth person killed, Anwar Ali Shah, the Bittagram District Police Officer (DPO) Public Relations Officer (Pro), according to Abdul Nabi, was the fourth person from the rival group.

He added that the injured were taken to the Bitagram District Headquarters Hospital, where those living in critical condition were shifted to Abbottabad’s Job Teaching Hospital Complex.

The official added that after the incident, a heavy police contingent reached the area.

Koza Banda police registered a case against Shahzada’s son Habibullah, against 14 people belonging to the rival group.

The FIR requested Section 302 (Qatar-Amen or deliberately murder), 324 (deliberately killing), 148 (riots, deadly weapons) and 149 (every member of the crime of the illegal assembly).

Land disputes claimed at least 15 lives last month, of which six were reported in KP.

In early March, four brothers were killed and two others were injured when rival groups exchanged firing on a land clash in Qasim Toro Mera area of ​​Mardan.
