King Charles suffered a major setback during Prince William and Princess Kate’s foreign tour.
The king received the disappointing news about the closure of the firm’s beloved family-run green grocer Partridges.
According to The mirrorthe owner has decided to close his flagship shop in Chelsea after 53 years.
Notably, the vegetarians were awarded a Royal Warrant by Queen Elizabeth in 1994 and were recently awarded by the King.
“They have also supplied goods to the royal family for decades,” the report said.
John Shepherd, owner of the food brand, shared, “We are very sad to be leaving Chelsea after an incredible 53 years serving local residents.
