Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, Ni (M), visited Chahkan in Wana and Dera Ismail Khan in South Waziristan to celebrate Eidol Feather with officers and soldiers stationed on the western border.
A news released by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued here said that Coas Asim Munir offered Eid prayers and prayed for Pakistan’s sustainable stability and prosperity.
During his conversation, Coas Asim Munir congratulated the soldiers on the hot Eidol Fitr, and he praised the nation for their irrevocable dedication and exemplary services.
“Your commitment and flexibility not only protects our homeland but also gives an example of your deep love for Pakistan,” he said.
He appreciated the performance of the armed forces and other law enforcement agencies (LEA) with the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who are always raiding against the threat of terrorism.
Recognizing the tireless efforts of formations, Coas Asim Munir sacrificed his achievements to the sacrifices of our martyrs and those who are bound by the maximum cause of peace and stability.
Upon its arrival, COAS was warmly welcomed by Corps Commander Peshawar.
