According to an official statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the award recognizes gallantry, residual services, and dedication operations in duty.
According to an ISPR news release, 2 Sitara-i-Basalats, 227 Tamagha-Beshales, 82 discrimination credentials, 185 complimentary cards, 23 Hilal-Amatti (Military), 112 Sitara-Aitas (Military) and 133 Tamagha-i-MTAz (Military) have been awarded.
Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Ali Shaukat (Shaheed), FF, and Subban Majid Baloch (Shaheed), AK, for their extraordinary bravery and indifference to their extraordinary bravery and indifference works, were later respected for their extraordinary bravery and unconditional works.
Among those who were awarded the Tamagha-Bales were several officers and soldiers who made the final sacrifice. The recipients include LT Colonel Syed Kashif Ali (Shaheed), Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Hassan Haider (Shaheed), Major Babar Khan (Shaheed), and Captain Muhammad Ahmed Badar (Shaheed). These awards are proof of their courage and affiliation with the nation.
The discrimination certificates were awarded to 82 officers and men, including Lieutenant Colonel Moin Adnan, Major Ahmed Adnan Ar Rasheed, Captain Lokman Asghar, and Hug Imran Khan (Shaheed). These men showed extraordinary devotion and professionalism in their own roles.
A total of 185 officers and soldiers received the COAS complimentary card. These included the prominent LT Colonel Naveed Abbas, Major Karimullah Jan, Captain Zafar Iqbal, and Major Syed Bilal Maxud. His prominent partnership was recognized in various operational and supportive roles of the Pakistan Army.
Hilal I-Amtiaz (Military) was given 23 senior services officers. The recipients included Major General Amir Ashfaq Kayani, Navy Rear Admiral Adnan Majeed, and Air Force Air Deputy Marshal Shahid Mansoor Jehangiri. These officers were honored with their exemplary leadership and contribution to national defense and strategic development.
Sitara-Amatiz (Military) was also given to prominent officers, including Brigade Farhan Saqib, Brigade Aaron Rahim, and Air Commodore Zulfar Aamir Kayani. Similarly, 133 officers and personnel received your dedicated service, receiving your II-Tamiah (army). The recipients included Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Kamran Khan, Air Force Wing Commander Arsalan Nadeem, and many others.
The awards reflect the nation’s deep gratitude with their armed forces, whose sacrifices and dedication have ensured Pakistan’s sovereignty and security. Addressing the event, President Zardari praised the professionalism and commitment of the military personnel, which recognized their role in maintaining peace and protecting the nation from internal and external threats.
These military honors were awarded in connection with the celebrations of Pakistan Day, which identified the importance of March 23 in the history of the country as a day of national pride and unity.
