The party confirmed that dozens of innocent workers were martyred by direct fire from the government machinery. The PTI spokesperson said that so far the party has received the details of eight martyrs.

According to the statement, Anees Shahzad Sati, Malik Mubeen Aurangzeb, Abdul Qadir, Malik Safdar Ali, Ahmad Wali, Muhammad Ilyas and Abdul Rashid are among the martyrs.

The spokesperson also appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take immediate notice of the brutal killing of the workers and ordered legal action against the Prime Minister, Interior Minister and the Inspectors General of Islamabad and Punjab.
